Sophomore Year: Chart Your Course

This is the year for looking deeply into dreams and refining them into action. No resource is more powerful than an expert guide along the way. CTS can help by administering tests to determine your student’s passions. The Strong’s Interest Inventory measures a person’s interests in a wide range of occupations, activities, and hobbies and produces a personalized report that identifies optimum career choices with concise job descriptions. The popular Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator is called “the best-known and most trusted personality assessment tool available today.” These are all aimed at leading your student in the direction of life-long success.

  • Stay focused and make sure the classes you are taking are both challenging and college preparatory.
  • Go to college fairs in your area and visit colleges while they are in session.
  • Learn about college costs and how financial aid works.
